About Me

Thank you for visiting Etowah Law and I’m sorry that you had to come to meet me this way. Unfortunately, the Georgia legislature has deemed DUI to be one of the more serious crimes in the State, more serious than Theft, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery, and even Child Molestation! You see, if you were convicted of one of those offenses, one of those felonies, you would likely be able to use tools like conditional discharge, pretrial diversion, or First Offender treatment in order to prevent a conviction going on your criminal record. DUI in Georgia is one of those very, very few crimes that forbid using such tools (murder and rape are two others to give you insight into how ridiculous it is). It will be on your record if you are convicted. Period. That is why it is so important to hire an attorney as soon as possible.

I am a “pseudo-homegrown Georgia Boy.” I graduated high school here in North Georgia and graduated Kennesaw State University in 1994. I attended Georgia State University Law School. Prior to opening my criminal practice here in North Georgia, I worked as a Federal Civil Rights Attorney and helped train U.S. Military Intelligence. I also served as chairman of the Georgia Bar’s Individual Rights Section.

Again, I cannot stress the importance of speaking to a knowledgeable attorney immediately. It is likely you only have 10 days to stop your license from being suspended for up to a year so call or text me today and let’s set up an appointment this week.
